This series came together as Nick Waplington photographed his London neighbourhood during the summer of 2018. Most of the images in the series are taken at a secret swimming spot on the River Lea in Hackney, "I see the work as a metaphor for the merriment and positivity of the British people at a time of turmoil and indecision caused by Brexit." The 100-page book documents a community that endeavours to enjoy life against the obstacles put in place by the powers that be.
