Renee Vivien (born Pauline Mary Tarn) was a British Symbolist poet who wrote exclusively in French, and Irina Ionesco was a Parisian photographer known for her (sometimes notorious) depictions of female nudes. In this book, Vivien's poems are juxtaposed with Ionesco's black-and-white portraits, with an introduction by Regine Deforges.
All text is in French.
