Shinya Fujiwara is a leading cult Japanese photographer, born in the 1940's who spent most of his adult life exploring different continents. 'Colors' contains photographs from his time in America and displays models lying elegantly in a forest near Seattle, dressed in kimonos with coloured threads draped over their naked bodies. These photographs were taken in the early 1970's and featured in an exhibition titled “Yume-tsuzure” which received critical acclaim. The photographs have been beautifully printed in this new book that is housed in a slipcase and limited to 1000 numbered copies.
