Originally published in 1980 Flash Up is composed of snapshots of gangsters, club workers and strippers in Tokyo, specifically the entertainment and business districts, on the streets of Ikebukuro and Shinjuku. The original publication became one of the definitive records of Japanese society by a relatively unknown Seiji Kurata.
Now reprinted by Zen Foto in this oversized edition, cloth covered with a hard slipcase.
