A profoundly private look into the world of Mexico's profoundly rich. In Ricas y Famosas, Daniela Rossell photographs the daughters and wives of some of the countries biggest spenders in their home environment.
These people have everything except ideas about how horrendous their taste is. It's hard to define Rossell's angle on her subjects, wether it be in approval, critique or entirely neutral, but the photographs always seem to find what is most vulgar in the surroundings.
Now out of print, Ricas y Famosas was selected as part of the The History of The Photobook and Martin Parr selected it as part of his list of the best photo books of the decade.
