Released on the newly formed Elektra Records in 1953, Voices of Haiti documents Maya Deren's wire recordings made during ceremonials near Criox-Des-Missions and Pationville in Haiti. Released the same year as Divine Horsemen, Deren's authoratitive book on the same subject. Cover art for the album was by Teijo Ito. Also includes accompanying 12 page pamphlet.
